| Cooperation Agreement with European Digital Library Foundation signed |

On January 29, 2009, the STERNA Consortium signed the Cooperation Agreement with the European Digital Library Foundation / Europeana. The agreement mainly covers exchange of experience with regards to the technical and organisational issues of using semantic web technologies for implementing and maintaining a digital library that involves many distributed members. Members of the STERNA Consoiitum already attended a first meeting of the Europeana technical group in January. A first presentation of the STERNA technical infrastructure to the Europeana team and members of DEN (Digital Heritage Netherlands) was scheduled for February 20, 2009. |
